Victory Bay Addiction Rehabilitation Center

Here at Victory Bay Recovery Center, we offer treatment at our outpatient drug rehab center in South Jersey. Outpatient care is the least intensive service offered at our outpatient drug rehab center.

This treatment is a combination of one individual therapy session per week and up to three group sessions per week.

We offer a robust schedule of outpatient group sessions allowing flexibility for individuals attending to their personal responsibilities.

How the Process of a Rehab Center Looks

  • Outpatient services are typically used once a client has achieved stabilization and has made progress toward the goals identified while attending the Intensive Outpatient program.
  • Clients begin to independently use community supports and tools learned within their community while maintaining a connection with Victory Bay Recovery Center’s therapeutic program.
  • During this final level of care, the professional addiction treatment staff at our outpatient drug rehab center in New Jersey works closely with clients to assure that they are prepared to fully re-integrate with their home communities, having developed better coping skills and life skills that enhance their abilities to maintain longer-term sobriety from alcohol and drugs.
  • Each client receives an individually customized aftercare program that addresses continued 12-step meeting schedules, safe and affordable housing options, and lifestyle habits which include dietary and activity support, preparing them to lead a full life of recovery.

What is a Drug Rehab Center?

drug rehab center (aka a Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center) is a medical facility dedicated to treating individuals who are dealing with addiction. Men and women who want to work towards living a sober life may be good candidates for outpatient treatment at the Victory Bay Recovery Center in southern New Jersey.

Rehab Centers may provide Outpatient and/or Inpatient Programs

At an inpatient facility, the client resides at the center for a specific amount of time (e.g., 30-days, 60-days or 90-days). Inpatient facilities provide patients with 24-hour supervision, medically supervised detoxification, addiction counseling as well as psychological treatment.

Receiving addiction treatment at an outpatient drug rehab center in South Jersey allows the patient to reside at home or in some other safe, therapeutic environment (e.g., a sober-living house). In addition, the patient can continue working or attending classes while receiving treatment.

What to Expect During Treatment at an Outpatient Rehab Center

At Victory Bay, the custom-designed outpatient treatment plans our mental health professionals create include the treatment modalities a patient needs at an intensity level that best fits his or her specific rehabilitation goals.

Treatment modalities may include:

In addition, patients receive professional support and our mental health staff holds them accountable for their actions. Of course, when contemplating a patient’s accountability level, the severity of the client’s substance-use disorder (SUD), the goals he or she has set, objectives, and personal strengths are all taken into consideration.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) at Victory Bay

At Victory Bay, there are two Intensive Outpatient Programs available: IOP-3 and IOP-5.

These programs provide clients with the opportunity to attain stability and then maintain their sobriety while participating in community activities.

IOP programs may include:

  • Psycho-education.
  • Process group.
  • Job preparedness.
  • Holistic care.

Intensive Outpatient-5 (IOP-5)

Patients participating in the IOP-5 program are those who benefit from structure.

IOP-5 concentrates on the needs and skill development of those who are stepping down from partial hospitalization, inpatient treatment, and detoxification services.

This program consists of five half-day group therapy sessions and one individual session a week. Most patients attend this program for two or three weeks.

Intensive Outpatient-3 (IOP-3)

IOP-3 is designed to help clients maintain contact with their support structure and provide therapeutic intervention as they continue reintegrating back into their communities.

Patients who participate in the IOP-3 program are previous clients interested in stabilizing their recovery efforts, those who have completed the IOP-5 program, as well as individuals who have completed a partial care program at a different drug rehab center.

The IOP-3 program provides patients with at least nine hours of support each week. Patients participating in this program have three half days of group therapy and one individual session every week. Most patients participate in the IOP-3 program for about 12 weeks.

Once patients in Victory Bay’s Intensive Outpatient Program are stable and have progressed, regarding their previously identified goals, these patients are ready to move on to our traditional outpatient treatment program.

During traditional outpatient treatment, clients receive one individual therapy session, and up to three group therapy sessions a week.

Addiction Is a Family Affair: Recovery Can Be Too

Addiction is a disease that impacts the entire family and friend network. Just as our mission to the individuals in our treatment center is based on compassion and love, so is the support we offer to their family members and friends.

As a newly sober person learns to live in recovery, the family also must learn to live with an individual in recovery and bridge the divide to become a healthier support network. Our counselors maintain regular communication with all family members, by providing weekly update calls.

If a client is not yet ready to have even this type of communication, forgiveness, and healing in the family system is discussed in therapy as part of the healing process.

As appropriate, family counseling sessions are available, allowing for families and the individual to express feelings of hurt and anger residual to periods of active addiction and fears related to the future in a safe and supportive environment.

Finally, we provide a bi-weekly family meeting that offers the opportunity to build a support system for family members and friends of those in addiction, as well as learn the current information related to addiction treatment and support.
