Michael was born and raised in the small town of Haddon Township, New Jersey.
He started his journey in the addiction field when he began studying Addiction Counseling at Camden County College and worked as a tech at a Mental Health facility.
After completing his Associates degree, he transferred to Drexel University where he obtained a degree in Behavioral Health Counseling. His studies focused on a combination of Motivational Interviewing, CBT and Substance Use Disorders. Michael is currently working towards a Master of Health Administration degree from Drexel University.
Michael would describe himself as more observant than outspoken. He believes those suffering from addiction deserve a second chance at life and has a strong passion for helping others achieve sobriety. He believes two of the greatest qualities a person can have in life are being teachable and the ability to laugh at your own eccentricities.
“If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.” – Sir Isaac Newton, (1643-1727)
