Victory Bay Recovery Center College Scholarship – $500
Victory Bay Recovery Center specializes in treating adults with substance use problems. Our goal is to help people find their way back to health and happiness so they can become contributing members of society. For this reason, we have created the Victory Bay Recovery College Scholarship for undergraduate and postgraduate students to further that message.
Students who are currently enrolled or enrolled in the upcoming semester at a college or university in the US will write a 1,000–2,000-word essay on one of the following three topics:
- How has addiction affected your life?
- How has addiction affected the lives of people you know and/or your community?
- What is the importance and the impact of breaking down the stigmas around addiction and substance abuse treatment?

Victory Bay will accept applications for the 2020 Victory Bay Recovery Center College Scholarship until August 15th, 2020. We will not accept essays after August 15th, 2020. We will review all applicants and announce the winner by September 15th, 2020. Victory Bay will contact the winner via the email used to submit the essay, and we will mail a check in the amount of $500 for the scholarship award directly to the winner.
By submitting an application to Victory Bay Recovery Center, you certify that all the information you have provided is accurate and complete. You agree to transfer all rights and ownership of your essay and all submitted information to Victory Bay Recovery Center. Additionally, you also agree that your name, essay, and award amount may be used on our website, through announcements, or articles (i.e. social media, newsletter, etc.) issued by Victory Bay. You may remain anonymous if requested in your original submission. The winner of the essay scholarship is completely at the discretion of Victory Bay.
