Primary Therapist

The Primary Therapist Responsibilities include providing clinical services to the clients of Victory Bay Recovery Center.

Job Summary

  • Interface with the director and other program staff in decision-making process involving clients and relay all findings during clinical staffing.
  • Assess the counseling needs of the client.
  • Assessing client for substance abuse diagnosis using DSM, PHQ-9 and Columbia Scale criteria in determining appropriate level of care based on ASAM criteria.
  • Obtain previous records that are relevant to the current treatment episode.
  • Preparing and providing the substance abuse counseling and co-occurring portions of the client treatment plan
  • Development of the client discharge/continuum of care plan to ensure movement to the appropriate levels of care.
  • Documenting all client records, counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals and follow-up in the client’s clinical record.
  • Provide coordination of support services for the client/family and record the services provided in the client’s clinical record.
  • Contact and coordination with referral sources, (i.e. legal, school, employer, etc.)
  • Facilitate needed interventions for crisis-orientated issues utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach for assigned clients.
  • Facilitate group sessions.
  • Documenting: Discharge, Individual Sessions, Weekly Calls, Level of care changes, group sessions and treatment plans.

CADC or NJ Licensed Therapist

Required Experience: 2-4 years’ experience working in a Drug & Alcohol Treatment Facility. Preferred experience in EMDR & Eating Disorders.

Call Center Manager

The Call Center Manager responsibilities include leading & managing all aspects of in-bound calls to the call center, excellence in customer service, call throughput, documentation and outcomes. The Call Center is the “voice of the company” reflecting our culture and business values.

Job Summary

  • Answer all incoming calls using a professional and courteous manner.
  • Complete over-the-phone screens according to criteria.

Logistics Manager

The Logistics Manager is responsible for monitoring the safety, security, sobriety and transportation of Victory Bay’s clients, who are in various levels of treatment for substance abuse.

Job Summary

  • Monitor and direct the daily schedule of clients; including performing tasks and staying on schedule to attend all treatment and activities.
  • Organization and punctuality are key.
  • Transport clients to treatment facility, and back to residence in Victory Bay transport vehicle. Comply with driving guidelines and approved routes.
  • Monitor the condition and behavior of all clients for intoxication/drug use.
  • Administer Urine Analysis and breathalyzer on scheduled days of the week.
  • Promptly relieving previous shift Manager and conferring with them regarding all issues and concerns.
    Conduct searches of clients at intake and assist in completing intake paperwork.
  • Always maintain and control company keys.
  • Monitor clients and direct into group sessions or appointments when needed.
  • Make concerted effort to build relationships with each client, and model healthy communication as part of program of Recovery.
  • Manage and defuse conflict between clients impartially and respectfully. Effectively remind clients of rules and consequences of breach.
  • Enforce punitive measures when necessary.
  • Maintain a collegial but professional demeanor, reflective of healthy sobriety, and appropriate boundaries with each client.
  • Adhering to scheduled client transports and arrive to the facility in a timely manner.
  • Report to and communicate with Direct Supervisor.

The APN/PSYCHIATRIST Responsibilities include working alongside nursing staff and other Psychiatrist/APN staff with the ability to perform psychiatric evaluations and follow up services.

Job Summary

  • Performing initial psychiatric evaluations
  • Prescribing medications during follow up medication management appointments
  • Injection of medications when appropriate
  • Case conferencing with Director of Nursing, Clinical Director, and Psychiatrist/APN staff
